This is the one we hope to have on March 19th. It's got 5 (yes 5!) bedrooms and a fenced yard. We're so excited. All of the inspections have been completed. Right now we're waiting to hear on how the owners are straightening out the termite inspection paperwork. We should hear on Monday.
Their last offer was that we pay half of the termite treatment since they can't find the paperwork that shows it has already been treated. That would seem reasonable except that the treatment runs around $1,300 dollars, so that's a lot of money for us! The bank has said they either need to show that it was previously treated (with paperwork from a pest company) or they need to re-treat it (and they want to split the cost) or they need to find a 3rd pest company opinion that says it's not required. We're not yet sure how this is all going to work out, but right now we're hoping they find another company to say it doesn't need to be done.
